How to set up ET Social Login with OK?

  1. Attention. OK.ru supports only the HTTPS protocol for authorization. If your website is not available via this protocol, you will not be able to set up authorization via ok.ru.

  2. To create an application you have to be logged in under your own account or create a new one on ok.ru. Make sure that there is a valid and correct email in your profile settings.

  3. Before creating the application you have to receive developer permissions.

  4. Let's create a new application. A step-by-step manual with screenshots is available below.

    1. Go to the "Games" tab. Select "My uploads" in the side menu and click on the "Add App" link.

    2. Fill the form. Don't forget to allow the client OAuth.

      Redirect Url - you can find it in the extension settings in admin.
      Name - this name will be displayed to the customer when he uses Google to sign in or sign up.
    3. After saving the form, check your email account. You should receive an e-mail with the application keys. Example:

      Attention! Save the application's "Secret key" — it is necessary to be able to make changes in the application settings.
  5. Copy "Action ID", "Public Key" and "Secret Key" from the mail into the ET Social Login settings in the admin panel.

  6. We recommend you to fill the Special Notes field with the information about the social network account. E.g. email or name of the person who was creating the application. We had a lot of cases when shop owners wanted to make some changes and found out that they don't remember which account owns the application, so they were forced to create a new one.

  3. Enter the application "Secret Key" from your mail and click "Save".
