How are the extensions numbered and what does it mean?

Starting with August 2012, we've introduced new extension version numbering rules, which take into account the importance of implemented changes.

All extensions are now numbered according to the format X.Y.Z, whereas:

  • X — Major version number. Changed in case of global changes in the extension.
  • Y — Minor version number. Changed, if a new feature was added to the extension.
  • Z — Patch number. Changed, if some bugs were fixed.

Example:
In the case of a version number 1.5.3, X number is 1, Y is 5 and Z is 3.
